Most Americans Believe Gays Should Be Allowed To Serve Openly In Military

SANTA BARBARA, CA, – A recent CNN poll found that 79 percent of Americans believe that openly gay people should be allowed to serve in the military. A new poll by Fabriozio-McLaughlin finds that by a 49 to 42 percent majority, Republicans also favor the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell.”
