First-ever statistical study of gay ban finds no link between gay troops and unit cohesion
SANTA BARBARA, CA, – A new study by Drs. Bonnie Moradi of the University of Florida and Laura Miller of the Rand Corporation has found that there is no statistical connection between unit cohesion or readiness and the presence of known gay troops in a unit. The study, the first ever statistical test of the so called unit cohesion rationale, was commissioned by the Palm Center, a research institute at the University of California.
