SANTA BARBARA, CA, – A new working group including former Congressman Marty Meehan and two retired General Officers issued a statement today correcting misleading claims by President Barack Obama and others about gays in the military.  Later this week, the Palm Center will release a policy analysis on efforts by some gay and gay-friendly activists, journalists and politicos to block an executive order on gay troops.  Dr. Nathaniel Frank responded to incorrect claims about the executive order last week in the Gay Community News.
